The Best Spring Transitional Piece

In spring it’s easy to walk out the door in the morning prepared for a cool, breezy day, but by afternoon it’s blazing hot out. This makes outfit planning a little bit harder to do because it’s like two different seasons in one day. Currently, I love a long sleeve off-the-shoulder top because they’re so easy to throw on with jeans and sandals. They won’t make you freeze in the mornings, and also won’t make you overheat in the afternoons. They come in many different colors and styles, but this one is my favorite!

First of all, it is an off-the-shoulder top, which I am obsessed with because they are super flirty and fun. This one seems to stay up really nice so I don’t have to worry about constantly pulling it in to place. It’s also striped and what girl doesn’t love stripes?! Because of its neutral color scheme, it can easily be paired with just about any bottoms. I chose dark wash jeans for this outfit but have also wore it with black jeans and it looked great too. The bow detailing on the sleeve adds a little girly flair to it, so that’s a fun bonus. I found this particular one at Trendz Boutique in Celina, OH.

I added a chunky pearl necklace and my favorite mule shoes (last seen here) to finish it off. I’ve already worn this top so many times because it’s light, but still will keep me warm. It’s the perfect piece for those days where the weather can’t make up its mind!
