Yesterday a package arrived that I had been anticipating for a whole week (yeah, I know it isn’t that long but it felt like it!) and I am so excited to share it with you all. I’m in love with the classic, preppy look of seersucker and Jack Rogers sandals in the spring/summer, so when I saw this dress I knew I needed it ASAP.
So I ordered it and here I am a week later dying over the beauty of this dress. The bell sleeves, the embroidered neckline, and the classic blue and white pinstripe seersucker is enough to make me collapse on the floor because I’m so in awe.
It’s from the boutique Prep Obsessed, and obsessed with the preppiness of this dress I am! It’s perfect to wear to dinners by the beach, (not too many of those in Ohio lol!) to a casual summer soirée, or even a day out shopping!
I paired it with these pink ball drop earrings that I’ve seen just about every blogger wearing lately, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get myself a pair. As well as my favorite Jack Rogers sandals that my mom scored on sale last summer which is pretty rare for this particular color combo.
This outfit is quite a bit out of the ordinary for me because I usually only wear black, denim, and gray dresses in the summer. I’m loving every little inch of this dress even though it’s not my typical style!
The sleeves of this dress make me feel so chic and girly, and I really love that about this dress. I’m taking a step out of my comfort zone of plain summer dresses with this ensemble, which is something I try to challenge myself to do often.
Since summer is approaching, I’m setting my goal this summer to push myself to try more trends and expand my wardrobe. But don’t get me wrong, you won’t see me abandoning my black and white classic looks anytime soon!
