Some days, I feel like my outfit just needs something, and not another bracelet or piece of jewelry. Something to make it a little less casual and a little more in-your-face, but in a good way. On those days, I like to throw on a fur vest. They’re fun, chic, and a super easy way to turn the most boring outfit into a look that seems like you spent a lot of time putting together.

In my Fall Fashion Must-Haves Under $50 post, I included a fur vest, and for good reason. It’s a super versatile piece that not only keeps you warm on chillier days, but makes every outfit super trendy.
I absolutely adore this taupe fur vest because when paired strategically, the taupe can come off as a blush color. For this look, I’ve paired it with an ivory blouse, dark wash jeans, and suede over the knee boots. It’s simple, cozy, and super chic.
This fur vest specifically looks gorgeous paired with rich wines and burgundies. These two colors bring out the pink tones in the vest, and create a soft, feminine look. It’d look great with an all black ensemble as well, but the pink tones wouldn’t be as noticeable this way!
I have a knee length white fur vest too, but I haven’t quite pulled it out yet. The taupe/blush just works so well for the fall because it looks great with warmer colors. Regardless, fur vests are easily one of my fall/winter wardrobe staples because you can throw them on with any outfit and instantly make it a bit dressier.
