Hello lovelies! I’m a huge fan of lipsticks, lip glosses, lip stains, ect. so I thought I’d share five of my favorite lip products. These are the lippies I’m always reaching for, and the ones I just can’t live without. It was hard to narrow this list down to just a few, but I managed to pick five of my favorites out of my growing collection.
I received a travel size of the Buxom Lip Cream in a Sephora lip kit, and I haven’t stopped wearing it since. The shade I have is called Dolly and Sephora’s description of it is “sultry mauve.” I would absolutely agree with that, and it’s the perfect natural shade that still adds a bit of color. I love how long lasting and glossy it is too!
This past summer, my mom and I ventured into Ulta and decided to try out this matte liquid lip. Since then, we’ve grown our collection to five different colors, and are looking to add more. Melted Matte is VERY pigmented, and stays on all day after you let the product sit for a few minutes. Some of my favorite shades are Suck it, Queen B, and Miso Pretty.
I had never tried a fuschia lip color, until I got a sample of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lip in K-Dub. I don’t love the formula as much as the Too Faced Melted Mattes, but I adore the color. It’s definitely a crazy shade for me, but I love wearing all black and having my lips be the pop of color with this liquid lipstick!
As much as I gravitate towards bold lips, I do occasionally love a neutral blush color. This Rimmel London Stay Matte liquid lip in the shade Blush is the perfect shade of nudey-pink. It’s a great dupe for the melted mattes, although I do think it is a tad bit more drying.
This lippie has been my holy grail since middle school, especially in the shade Digitalis. It’s the most gorgeous petal pink shade, and the finish is satin and smooth. O.C.C. Lip Tars aren’t quite liquid lipsticks or lip glosses, but somewhere in between! The shade isn’t on O.C.C.’s website anymore, but I found it on Amazon for less than $20.
