Hello lovelies! Let’s take a moment to celebrate the end of the first month of 2018! I’m pretty sure everyone thinks January feels like two months in one, but regardless January was a great month. If you’re interested in reading the more personal side of my January recap, then head on over to my last post. Today, we are focusing on fashion and a few of my favorite things from this past month.
1. Dark Wash Jeans
I finally found the PERFECT pair of plain, dark wash jeans. These jeans are simple and have no distressing, so they are appropriate for a wide range of occasions. I’ve worn them nonstop this month, and they’ve quickly became my staple dark wash denim. They look lovely with fancy fur, but also pair well will casual outfits like this tee and cardi combo below! Unfortunately, the only size left is a 26, but Gap has quite a few pairs that are similar.
2. Black Fur Jacket
Yep, I bought more fur! It’s an obsession that I doubt will be going away anytime soon. I couldn’t resist because it was on sale for about $100 off. Fur is great for adding a statement piece to a basic outfit. I’ve worn this jacket with leggings, a white tee, and rose gold sneakers for a chic, athlesiure look. This item is on sale and in stock in an XS and S, and comes in pink as well. Head on over to Gap because their winter sale is too good to resist!
3. Rose Gold Hoops
One of my favorite accessories to pair with a black fur jacket is rose gold hoop earrings. I got this pair from Macy’s awhile ago, but the only come in gold now. Honestly, I’m dying for any kind of hoop earring right now, and there is less expensive rose gold pairs at Macy’s that are just as darling. The hoop earring, especially big pairs, are having quite the moment in the fashion scene right now!
4. Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream
I’m a fan of moisturizing lipsticks, and I love them even more if they are super pigmented. I found the Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream in the shade Double Bubble at Marshalls the other week, and picked it up to test it out. I totally regret not picking up the nude shade they had there as well because I love this product so much. Not only is it buttery smooth, it has an amazing color pay off and wears really well. It doesn’t look like Sephora carries the product at all, and Ulta doesn’t carry the exact shade. I did find it on Amazon for $15 if you’re interested in Double Bubble, but there is other gorgeous shades at Ulta worth checking out!
I’m so ready to take on February, find new products and clothing, and share them with you next month! Follow my Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest to find out when I upload my next Flamingo’s Top Four.
